How do I check availability?
The quickest way to contact us is by email. Please remember to include the date (and year), styling location, ceremony time and bridal party numbers / styling required. We will get back to you shortly.
Do you require a deposit?
To secure your wedding date/stylist we ask for a £50 holding deposit. Please note we are unable to secure your wedding date without this. The holding deposit becomes non-refundable 6 months prior to your wedding date.
We are following goverment & NHS guidelines and up to date advice from the NHBF and British Beauty Council so please know we are taking all measures to meet the strict covid-19 protocol your safety is important to us as its our teams.
Hair services can go ahead from 4th July 2020, however as makeup is close contact this comes under close contact beauty. The goverment has not given the go ahead or a date as yet but we will update as soon as we know. In the meantime we can offer brides makeup guidance and / or wedding makeup lessons.
We will do everything we can to accomodate your new date, if you need to postpone due to Covid-19.
What will I expect on the day of my wedding?
It's really important to us that you enjoy your wedding morning and feel relaxed on the days leading up to it so will be in touch after your trial with timings for the day so you know everything will run smoothly. On the day your stylist will arrive in plenty of time, bringing along her full kit, your trial notes and photos of your chosen look. You may also contact your stylist between the trial and wedding day if you have any concerns. If you have a large bridal party requiring hair & make-up we can arrange for another member of our team to assist. Your stylist will stay with you until you are in your dress and off to say 'I do'!
What areas do you travel to on the wedding day? Is travel included?
We cover East and West Sussex and the surrounding areas of Surrey and Kent. See map of areas we mainly work within click here. Travel on the wedding day is included for the first 10miles, after this travel is charged at 50p per mile. If you are unsure we can work out a travel quote for you. For large groups (if we are arranging an additional stylist) travel costs will also be charged for additional stylist/s we will advise you of this (if applicable).
When should I have my trial?
3 months before your wedding is a perfect. The trial is a great chance to discuss your ideas and talk over any concerns you may have with your stylist. Plenty of time to discuss and create your look please allow around 2.5 hours for a hair & make-up trial / 1.5 hours for hair only / makeup only. Friday and Saturday trials appointments are limited especially during peak wedding season (April - October) but we try to accommodate where we can and we do have lots of weekday availability. Trials in natural daylight are recommended especially for make-up however we do have a daylight lamp if you required an evening appointment. Trials can be paid for on the day by bacs or card. Trials for bridesmaids or mother of the bride are optional but not essential please ask us for prices if required.
How do I prepare for my trial?
Collect pictures of the hair & make-up images you like beforehand, these do not have to be the final look but will help to create your style. Pinterest is a great way to find images. We have put together some boards you may find helpful for inspiration CLICK HERE. If you are unsure please don't worry your stylist will talk options through with you together you'll find the right look. It's helpful to have a picture of your dress and any hair accessories if you have them in time for your trial but don't panic if you have yet to buy we do have some you can try out including veils, hair pieces & some clip in extensions.
Where is the trial held?
Unless otherwised arranged trials are held in our garden studio (Haywards Heath RH16) or if preferred we can arrange for your stylist to come to you (please note travel costs of 50p per mile apply for mobile appointments).
Can I wash my hair on the day?
Yes that's fine, we have plenty of products to add texture. Just please make sure your hair is throughly dried prior to your appoinment (unless otherwise reccomended by your stylist).
